Tom Doling

Position: Associate

Tom joined the practice in 2010 and has worked predominately in the Higher Education sector delivering over £100m of new teaching facilities for Birmingham City University, creating their City Centre Campus. The first phase; The Parkside Building, was awarded an RIBA West Midlands Award in 2014. Tom acted as Project Architect for the second phase of the new campus; the Curzon Building, and has overseen the design of the third phase which received unanimous approval from the council’s planning department and is due for completion in 2017.

Tom has also delivered a complete interior refurbishment of the Lanchester Library at Coventry University offering flexible and unique post graduate study spaces.

As well as being a certified Architect, Tom has a First Class Batchelor of Arts qualification in Interior Design.

Lanchester Library Phase II Coventry University Refurbishment of the ground floor including the entrance and student study areas

 

Curzon B Birmingham City University The third phase of the City Centre Campus to provide 100,000sq.ft of teaching space over 6 storeys for 3,000 students.
