Culture & Team

We’re a group of people who think differently, and think bigger.

We believe real creativity isn’t just about ‘great design’ or ‘architectural principles’ – it is about intelligent thinking that solves problems, innovates, challenges assumptions, imagines and explores.

Our People

Associated Architects’ approach is one rooted in listening, exploring, questioning, researching, designing and leading. It is concerned with analysis and problem solving rather than by stylistic preconception and generic design solutions. Our client’s brief is the starting point for our design work and our buildings are always influenced by responsible economic, environmental and social concerns.

Our Culture

We’re a group of people who think differently, and think bigger.

We believe real creativity isn’t just about ‘great design’ or ‘architectural principles’ – its about intelligent thinking that solves problems, innovates, challenges assumptions, imagines and explores.

Our Vision

To create meaningful and significant buildings that will have a positive and lasting impact on their world, and inspire conversation.

Our Mission

To think ‘beyond design’, working together to create places that transform the way people live, work, and learn, for the better.

Our Values

We have integrity

We believe in creating unique architecture that puts human need and a sense of workability over design kudos.

We work together

The most exciting and meaningful buildings come from dialogue and collaboration. We’re a team of equals who embrace the range of expertise from inside and outside of our practice.

We think creatively

Real creativity is about more than ‘great design’. We believe the young people in our practice are its future and encourage their fresh thinking, and energy for exploring new ideas and innovations.

We understand our clients

Our clients value our partnership approach and our empathy. We take time to listen and to understand their world. We always do what’s right for the client and have no place for creative ego.

We connect with our community

Looking beyond the studio helps us see things differently and inspires us. We want our practice to reflect the diverse community it serves, helping us to create ‘places that are in tune with people’.
